Setup Staff Roles

After setting the game servers, the next step is to setup the staff roles, These roles will define the scope of Rust Manager's functions within your server.

Staff Types (Groups)

The staff types are the groups that you assign to each staff role that you create, its optional so it be used without it, the staff types are used to filter the staff roles and group them together for easier management, to create a staff type/group, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the Settings in the dashboard.
  • Enable the staff types by toggling the toggle button (it's disabled by default).
  • Click on the Add New Type button, complete the required fields, and save.

CAUTION

If you deleted a staff type (group) and it's assigned to staff roles they will be deleted aswell.

Staff Roles

Staff Roles let you define and assign specific responsibilities to your staff team. Whether it's moderation, server management, or other specialized tasks, these roles help ensure that the bot interacts with your community exactly as you intend. to create a new staff role follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the Settings in the dashboard.
  • Click on the Add New Role button, complete the required fields, and save.

TIP

When creating a new staff role, You will see role priority, it's like the role position, the lower the priority is the higher the role is.
